Kalyn’s Kitchen


This week’s tip is a wonderful website for recipes, Kalyn’s Kitchen.  Kalyn has an interesting backstory.  She was an elementary school teacher for many years and became a full-time food blogger after a 40 lb plus weight loss on the South Beach Diet.  I stumbled across her website a couple of years ago and have tried many of her recipes.  They are low glycemic, South Beach-friendly, and for anyone who is interested in eating healthier.  She tests and modifies her recipes and has excellent explanations and photos along the way.  She also allows comments on her site, which I find helpful.  If you are looking for vegan, gluten-free or freezable they are all here, too.  If you try her site, I would love for you to leave a comment on my facebook page about your thoughts or which recipe you tried.  I have no personal interest beyond being a fan myself.  Enjoy!
